It seems that everyone who has played around with pneumatics for some time would
attempt to build a pneumatic engine. So there a number of different models around.
One that has intrigued me is the yellow Lego Technic
"Steam" Engine by Per Arne Rikvold. I have been attempting to replicate it
but the single picture and Quicktime movie at his site didn't provide sufficient
information to be able to do so. Fortunately I was able to contact him and he has kindly
provided additional photos and detailed building instructions from which I was able to
build his engine. Here are pictures of my implementation of Per's engine. |
